What it does
- Smart obstacle avoidance, which is what makes flying it indoors as well as out reasonable
- Optical-flow hovering holds the height on its own, so a first flight is not a first crash
- A 2.4G anti-interference link, to stop it losing contact mid-air
- Compact enough for a child to hold, and CJ describes it as a first drone for young pilots
- Multiple light modes
Before your first flight
- At 331 g, this drone needs FAA registration: $5, valid 3 years, and it must broadcast Remote ID.
- Every recreational flyer needs the FAA's free TRUST safety test, whatever the drone weighs.
- Our free flight plan takes you from first hover to smooth camera moves in five drills.
